Grading students takes a lot of time for teachers and I think anything that can help with accuracy and time will be welcome. A good example of this is  Class Mate Grade book software makes it easy for teacher to calculate, manage and organize their grades.

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

School Management

We can start here, when we look at the typical school management system.  This is what I can expect in a basic version. Basic versions can be free:

·

In our school administration these tasks are given to many staffs.  I think a central administration for school record keeping uses the best of technology to solve an old problem.
  •      scheduler
  • ·        school and student performance statistics
  • ·        student financial data
  • ·        communication by email or letter.
  • ·        Staff time sheet management.
  • ·        Student file/document management
  • ·        student ID cards.
  • ·        mail-merged email and letters.
  • ·        test and event management.
  • ·        student demographic stats.

Teacher Tube

Teacher Tube:
‘I’ve used YouTube to have students research job interview tips, stress patterns, pronunciation problems, and informational interviews. The results have been consistently positive as I have students write concise video reviews and email me their reviews for homework before the next class.’

Maybe your students could have this video on Thailand as homework?
